Vishnu Vishal's next titled FIR - Faizal Ibrahim Raiz was announced in July this year. Directed by Manu Anand who is a former associate of Gautham Menon, the film went on floors on Monday.

The film which was supposed to go on floors by September this year was pushed due to various reasons, including Vishnu's injury. Though the film was initially announced that it would be bankrolled by Anand Joy under the banner Sujataa Entertainments it was recently announced that the film would be bankrolled by Vishnu Vishal himself under his own banner. The film, which marks Vishnu's fourth production venture, will be a Summer 2020 release.

Touted to be an action thriller the film will have three heroines - Manjima Mohan, Reba Monica John and Raiza Wilson in the star cast. “A young Muslim man living in Chennai is caught up in an inexplicable situation which completely changes his life upside down. This action-thriller storyline captures his journey back to life under the current socio-politico-economic scenario, which is biased with prejudices, in a most entertaining and emotionally powerful way,” read a statement earlier about the film.

The film will also stars RNR Manohar, Shabeer, Gaurav Narayanan, Abhishek Joseph George, Rakesh Brahmanandan, Praveen K Nair, Prashanth (itisprashant), Vinod Kailash.

Ace cinematographer PC Sriram’s assistant and Kirumi fame Arul Vincent will do the film's cinematography while Ashwath will compose its music. GK Prasanna is the editor while Indu Lal Kaveeth is the Art director.

Vishnu Vishal was last seen in Silukkuvarupatti Singam, an action comedy film directed by Chella. The film starred Regina Cassandra as the female lead. Leon James had composed music for this film with J Laxman cranking the camera and Rubens doing the editing.

Vishnu also awaits the release of Jagajaala Killadi. Directed by Ezhil, the film has Yogi Babu, Nivetha Pethuraj and Motta Rajendran in the star cast playing pivotal roles. There are also reports are that Vishnu Vishal has been approached for the Tamil remake of Jersey to reprise the role done by Nani in the original.
