Vishnu Vishal’s next, titled FIR to be helmed by Manu Anand was launched recently. Touted to be an action thriller the film will have three heroines Manjima Mohan, Reba Monica John and Raiza Wilson in the star cast.

Initially, the film was announced to be bankrolled by Anand Joy under the banner Sujataa Entertainments. And the latest update is that the film would be bankrolled by Vishnu Vishal himself under his own banner.The film is currently in the pre-production stage and it is expected to go on floors soon.

“A young Muslim man living in Chennai is caught up in an inexplicable situation which completely changes his life upside down. This action-thriller storyline captures his journey back to life under the current socio-politico-economic scenario, which is biased with prejudices, in a most entertaining and emotionally powerful way,” read a statement earlier about the film.

The film will also star RNR Manohar, Shabeer, Gaurav Narayanan, Abhishek Joseph George, Rakesh Brahmanandan, Praveen K Nair, Prashanth (itisprashant), Vinod Kailash as the supporting casr. Ace Cinematographer PC Sriram’s assistant and Kirumi fame Arul Vincent will handle the camera, Ashwath will handle the music. G K Prasanna is the editor while Indu Lal Kaveeth is the Art direction.

Vishnu awaits the release of Jagajaala Killadi. Directed by Ezhil, the film has Yogi Babu, Nivetha Pethuraj, Motta Rajendran in the star cast playing pivotal roles. Reports are that Vishnu Vishal has been approached for the Tamil remake of Jersey to reprise the role done by Nani in the original. He is a cricketer in real life and is an apt choice for the role.

Vishnu Vishal’s last film release was Silukkuvarupatti Singam, an action comedy film directed by Chella which was also produced under his own banner. The film starred Regina Cassandra as the female lead. Leon James had composed music for this film with J Laxman cranking the camera and Rubens doing the editing.
