The National award winning actor Dhanush’s project, Velai Illa Pattadhari – 2, which is the sequel to his hit flick VIP, has created the right buzz ever since its commencement. The film is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
Starring Dhanush in the lead and Amala Paul as the heroine, it has Kajol making a comeback to Kollywood after nearly two decades. Interestingly, she will be seen as the villain in VIP 2.
With the motion poster of the movie being released and the fans getting a peek of Dhanush and Kajol’s characters, the buzz around it just got bigger.
VIP 2, slotted for release this year, is based on the Hollywood flick The Pursuit of Happiness, which had Will Smith in the lead. The story and dialogues for VIP 2 have been penned by Dhanush.
VIP, released in the year 2014, was directed by Velraj and it was one of the biggest hits of Dhanush’s career.
