The filming of Mollywood actor Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Manoharam has been progressing for quite some time now and there is confirmation from him that the shooting has been wrapped up. Announcing it through his social media page, Vineeth wrote, “For the past two months, we all have been part of this beautiful journey.. from the rehearsal camp to our script reading sessions to shooting the film, everything about Manoharam was beautiful.. I hope and pray that when the movie releases, people will feel the same way too.”

The film is directed by Anwar Sadik. The director and actor have earlier teamed up for Ormayundo Ee Mukham in which Vineeth acted opposite Namitha Pramod, who played a character like Drew Barrymore’s in 50 First Dates, her memory affected after an accident.

Manoharam is bankrolled by Jos Chakkalakal under the banner Chakkalakal Films. Besides Vineeth Sreenivasan, the film will have Indrans, Basil Joseph, Deepak Parambol, Hareesh Perady, Jude Anthany Joseph, VK Prakash, Delhi Ganesh, Ahmed Siddique, Nisthar Sait, Manju Sunil, Kalaranjini, Sreelekshmi, Veena Nair and Nandini playing supporting roles. Jebin Jacob is the cinematographer for Manoharam with Sajeev Thomas, a former associate of maestro AR Rahman, composing the music, and Nithin Raj in charge of editing.

Vineeth Sreenivsan was last seen playing the male lead in the movie Aravindante Athidhikal. Directed by M Mohanan, the film was about a boy abandoned by his mother in a temple, growing up to work in a hotel and meeting a dance student who tries to find who his mother is.

Vineeth who is also a filmmaker has last directed the film Jacobinte Swargarajyam which was based on the story of his friend, who had to take up responsibilities after his dad has a problem in his business and needs to stay away. Nivin Pauly who made his acting debut through Vineeth’s first film Malarvadi Arts Club played the male lead in Jacobinte Swargarajyam.
