The News Minute | December 11, 2014 | 8:00 am IST Villagers in the Pedaparimi village of the Tulluru mandal in Guntur district trashed the headmaster and a teacher of a private school on Wednesday for allegedly sexually abusing girl students. According to a report in the Times of India, the incident came to light when the school correspondent paid a surprise visit and asked the students to anonymously list out their grievances. The result was shocking and after further investigation, he learnt that the headmaster K Rajeswara Rao and Telugu teacher Raghava were sexually abusing the students at night and also threatening them against alerting anyone. This had been going on for years according to some of the students. The villagers upon hearing this became furious and beat the two accused and paraded them in front of the students half naked. The villagers also made the accused sign their resignation letters. The Guntur district police superintendent Ramakrishna directed the police to register a case against the accused and look into the incident.
