Vijay Sethupathi is basking in glory of Super Deluxe receiving a good response and the star has recently wrapped up his film with director Vijay Chander. Titled, Sanga Thamizhan the makers had recently released the first look of the film with Vijay Sethupathi sporting a twirled mustache and a rugged look.
The latest news is that, Vijay Sethupathi will be playing dual roles in this film.
The shooting of the first schedule was recently wrapped up in Hyderabad last month and we hear that following the first Hyderabad schedule, the second schedule will happen in and around Madurai from next week and during this schedule Nivetha Pethuraj will be joining the sets.
Touted to be a family entertainer, this film will have Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj playing the female lead. Sources told TNM, that the film's storyline will be set in North Chennai and the director has done a lot of research for it. The film has its "mass dialogues" penned by Vijay Chander. From what we hear, it is sure to be an intense film that is set to thrill all Vijay Sethupathi’s fans.
The film will have music by Vivek-Mervin of Gulaebaghavali fame and Velraj who cranked the camera for films like Komban and Vada Chennai will work on its visuals.
It may be noted here that Vijay Sethupathi will be making his debut in the Telugu film industry with the Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy this year. In this film, he will be sharing the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Kiccha Sudeep. The biopic on the legendary freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is directed by Surendar Reddy and produced by Ram Charan Teja under his banner Konidela Production Company.
The star is also all set to make his acting debut in the Malayalam film industry with Mathai Marconi in which he shares the screen space with Jayaram. The film is bankrolled under the banner Satyam Audios. Mathai Marconi is a bilingual that will be made in Tamil and Malayalam given the popularity of its lead stars Jayaram and Vijay Sethupathi in the Malayalam and Tamil film industries respectively.
