Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who was last seen in Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which also marked his Telugu debut currently has close to half a dozen unreleased projects. Vijay Sethupathi's next, directed by debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth an erstwhile assistant of SP Jananathan, has been titled Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir. Interestingly the title was suggested by Vijay Sethupathi himself.

In an interview with TOI, director Roghanth had said, "We were discussing a few titles, and the theme of the film is universal, I felt we could have Yaavarum Kelir as the title. It was Vijay Sethupathi who suggested we go with Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, the famous quote of Kaniyan Pungundranar. I don’t think any other language has distilled the essence of the oneness of humanity in such simple terms".

Touted to be a musical thriller, the film would be shot in Kodaikanal and has Megha Akash playing the female lead. Initially, Amala Paul was roped in to play the female lead and a week later the film was officially launched and Megha Akash was brought in as a replacement.

Reports suggest the film will revolve around three music composers, played by Vijay Sethupathi, Megha Akash, and a foreign actor.

The movie also stars Kaniha and filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni will be making his acting debut via this project. He's been roped in for a crucial role and is tipped to be playing the antagonist.

Magizh, whose last directorial venture was Thadam, will complete shooting for this project and then commence work on his next directorial. The film will have music by Nivas Prasanna and cinematography by Mahesh Muthuswamy.
