The shooting of Vijay’s upcoming film Sarkar is currently happening at different locations in Las Vegas, US. A song from the film, choreographed by Shobi, will feature Vijay and is touted to be the intro number.
While the team is still busy shooting this song, a few clips from the shooting spot have been leaked online. This has revealed Vijay’s costume and a few dance moves. The star, seen in a flashy costume, is the cynosure of all eyes. However, the team is dismayed with the song's leak.
The film is directed by AR Murugadoss and bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under his banner Sun Pictures. Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman is scoring music for Sarkar.
After the massive success of Mersal, young lyricist Vivek is penning all the songs in the film. Girish Gangadharan is wielding the camera and A Sreekar Prasad will be editing it. AR Murugadoss and Vijay are teaming up for the third time after the success of Thuppaki and Kaththi and fans are hopeful that the duo would score a hat-trick at the box office with Sarkar.
On the film’s progress, we hear that soon after wrapping up the song sequence that is currently being shot, some important sequences with Vijay and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar would be shot in the US.
Sarkar also has Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar in the star cast. Those in the supporting roles include Arjun Sarja, Prem Kumar, Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi, and Pala Karuppiah.
Vijay has completed dubbing for his portions so far and the post production work will begin full swing soon. As reported earlier, the shoot of the film will be completely wrapped up this month and the film is scheduled to release this Diwali.
