Vijay Deverakonda, who shot to limelight with his hit film Arjun Reddy has a bunch of movies lined up, which are in various stages of production. He reportedly has about six films in his kitty currently.

He recently signed up for a bilingual that will be bankrolled by ace producer KE Gnanavelraja under his banner Studio Green.

The film is going to be directed by Anand Shankar. The film's cinematographer is Santhana Krishnan Ravi Chandran, son of ace cameraman Ravi K Chandran. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced shortly. Director Anand Shankar has two films to his credit – Arima Nambi which has Vikram Prabhu in the lead and Iru Mugan with Vikram as the hero. His film with Vijay Devarakonda will be his first bilingual.

Vijay Deverakonda was first seen in the movie Life is Beautiful, in which he played a minor role. He was then cast in Yevade Subramanyam, in which he shared the screen with Nani. His first lead role was in Pelli Choopulu, which was directed by Tharun. The film was a commercial success and went on to win the Best Feature Film in Telugu in the 64th National Film Awards. His last release was Arjun Reddy which had him in the title role.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Arjun Reddy was produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga under the banner Bhadrakali Pictures. With the film turning out to be a blockbuster, its remake rights sold like hot cakes. The Tamil remake is being directed by Bala with Vikram’s son Dhruv reprising Vijay Deverakonda’s role

Vijay Devarakonda is busy with a slew of films right now, and his films Taxiwala and Geeta Govindam are likely to hit the screens very soon.
