Ever since Arjun Reddy made it to the silver screens, Vijay Deverakonda’s fan base started to rise. The star shares a good rapport with his fans and affectionately calls them ‘rowdies’.

Interestingly, he has also started a website called Rowdy Club (www.rowdyclub.in) much to the delight of his fans. And this is not the usual fan website that we’ve seen in the past. Fans will have to register to log into the site, which promises exciting times ahead.

Talking about the club, the actor had said, “If you register your details, you are in for a wild ride with me! You will hear from me soon.”

Now, we wonder what the star intends to do. Will he be interacting with his fans on a regular basis? What does ‘wild ride’ mean? All these questions will be answered soon hopefully.

Vijay Deverakonda started his acting career doing supporting roles. His debut as the lead came with Pelli Choopulu, a romantic entertainer directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam. The film starred Ritu Varma as the leading lady. A commercial success, it also went on to win the Best Feature Film in Telugu at the 64th National Film Awards.

Vijay’s next, Dwaraka, turned out to be a flop at the box office but he rose to stardom after playing the titular role in Arjun Reddy. Not only was the film critically acclaimed, it also turned out to be a huge success at the box office. Vijay Deverakonda’s role in the film was lauded by all and offers began to pour in for him.

Vijay currently has a slew of films in his kitty, including Taxiwala which has Malavika Nair starring opposite him. His other films are Geetha Govindham, Dear Comrade and a bilingual titled NOTA, to be directed by Iru Mugan fame Anand Shankar. NOTA will mark his debut in the Tamil film industry.
