Recently, he took to Twitter to ask his fans about the release date of his upcoming film NOTA. He gave four options for it: a) Oct 5 b) Oct 10 c) Oct 18 D) NOTA.
With Vijay using the film’s title as one of the options, he seems to be promoting it well for a wider reach. NOTA is a political thriller that is directed by Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame. The film is bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja under his banner Studio Green on a huge budget. It stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role and will incidentally mark his debut in the Tamil film industry.
While Mehreen Pirzada plays the female lead in the film, the star cast also includes Sathyaraj and Nassar in pivotal roles. With NOTA, Vijay Devarakonda will be setting his foot in the Tamil film industry. The film is a bilingual and will be released in Telugu as well as Tamil.
According to sources, Vijay will dub himself in Tamil for his character in this political thriller. It may be mentioned here that Vijay’s last outing at the theatres, Geetha Govindam has turned out to be a big hit and his fans are expecting another big hit from him with NOTA. Besides this film, Vijay Deverakonda is expecting the release of a couple of other films such as Taxiwala and Dear Comrade, which are in different stages of production. The star also has a number of scripts needing his attention and he is likely to make his Bollywood debut soon. An official announcement regarding this is likely to be made soon.
