Vijay Devarakonda expresses desire to work with Vasan Bala

Bollywood filmmaker Vasan Bala’s trailer of his upcoming film The Man Who Feels No Pain, was released recently and opened up to good reviews. It did not miss the attention of actor Vijay Devarakonda who not only praised the filmmaker for coming out with offbeat films but also expressed his desire to team up with him. Director Vasan Bala, in reply, said that he would be glad to work with Vijay Devarakonda in the future.

Vijay Deverakonda, the latest sensation of Tollywood, seems to be keen on making a debut in Bollywood. The star is riding high on success with his consecutive films turning out to be smash hits. His Arjun Reddy was phenomenal hit following which its remake rights in different languages were sold out like hot cakes. In the Hindi version, Shahid Kapoor is reprising the role done by Vijay Devarakond and Tara Sutaria will be reprising the role of Shalini Pandey in the original version. It will be Vikram’s son Dhruv in the Tamil remake. 

His recent release Geetha Govindam is also doing well at the theatres and is on its way to being declared a smash hit.

With Geetha Govindam opening to positive reviews and good box office collections, VijayDevarakonda’s star status has just gone up. He has three other films – Taxiwala, NOTA and Dear Comrade lined up for release and in different stages of production.

Director Vasan Bala had directed the 2012 film Peddlers, a story that revolves around a drug peddler played by Siddharth Menon, a young immigrant mother facing a fatal disease, played by Kriti Malhotra and a corrupt cop essayed by Gulshan Devaiah. He had co-written Raman Raghav 2.0, which was directed by Anurag Kashyap and The Lunch Box, a Ritesh Batra directorial.
