Vijay Antony, who is basking in the success of his latest film Kolaigaran, will next team up with Vijay Milton for an action film, which will again be produced by the team of Kolaigaran, which includes Pradeep Kumar, Kamal Bohra and G. Dhananjayan. The yet-untitled film marks the maiden collaboration of Antony and Vijay Milton, who is best known for films such as Golisoda and Kadugu. Milton has confirmed the film will be an out-and-out action film.
Talking to Times of India, producer Dhananjayan said, “The entire film is set in the outdoors and the shoot will take place in exotic locations of Diu and Daman, with the songs shot in Goa. It will be an out-and-out action film. Vijay Milton will be writing, directing and shooting the film. We are planning to go on floors from October 1.”
The team plans to complete the project in one schedule. Therefore, they’re trying to get bulk dates from artistes. Dhananjayan also revealed that the film will feature another young hero. But, he also clarified that this won’t be a two-hero subject. “Vijay Antony will be the sole lead. But this character will drive the plot — though he will not be the antagonist,” he said.
At the recently held thank you meet of Kolaigaran, Dhananjayan revealed he plans to make more projects with Vijay Antony and that their association will go on for a long time. Meanwhile, Kolaigaran has emerged as a box-office hit with first week gross of over Rs 15 crore from Tamil Nadu. The film is doing decent business in Telugu where it was dubbed and released as Killer.
