As Vijay’s Bairavaa is gearing up for release during Sankranti festival next year, all the focus has now shifted on the actor’s next project and it marks his reunion with Theri director Atlee.
Following the phenomenal run of Theri, Vijay and Atlee have decided to team up once again and the yet-untitled action flick, according to sources, will be completely shot in the US. If they manage to shoot abroad, it’ll be the first time that a Vijay-starrer will be completely shot outside India.
Rumour has it that Atlee along with his team is currently in the US, finalizing the locations and other logistics. With the regular shooting slated to kick-off from later this year or early 2017, the project is expected to be shot on a lavish budget vis-à-vis Theri, and Sri Thenandal Films will be bankrolling the new film.
Double Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has been roped in to compose the music, while the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalized.
Kajal Aggarwal is most likely to team up with Vijay for the third time after Thuppakki and Jilla. Although she hasn’t yet signed on the dotted line, the odds are in her favour as the makers are keen to have her on board.
