Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay’s Bairavaa may not have turned out to be a blockbuster but the star isn’t undeterred by the failure as he has moved on to his next project.
Reuniting with Theri director Atlee, the Thuppakki actor will be next seen in a romantic action flick which is all set to go on the floors from first week of February in Chennai. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Jyothika in the lead, with Sathyan confirmed as one of the comedians. Soori and Naan Kadavul Rajendran are also believed to be part of the project.
“The principal shooting will commence from February 2 in Chennai. The set work is currently underway. After the brief first schedule, the team will head to the US to shoot a major schedule. They will also be shooting in Europe; however, the locations are yet to be finalized. Vijay’s twirled moustache and beard look is for this project and he will grow it through the course of the film to show the character’s age,” a source from the film’s unit said.
While double Oscar-winning AR Rahman will take care of the music, debutant Vishnu will crank the camera.
