On Saturday, the Miss America organization suspended Destiny Vélez, who had won the Miss Puerto Rico title after she made a series of tweets speaking against filmmaker Michael Moore.
Moore had held a sign in front of Trump Tower which read “We are all Muslim”, to which the model tweeted back, ”Why are u defending Muslims that haven’t done nothing for the USA“ among many other comments.
