Several film-related events have taken place at the popular Chitradurga Government School Grounds and it is considered to be one of the lucky spots for Dr Shiva Rajkumar.
So, when the team was deciding on the audio launch venue for Tagaru, they eventually decided on fulfilling the wish of a hardcore Shiva Rajkumar fan, Kantharaj. The fan had placed his request that the event be conducted at the Chitradurga Grounds, where the audio launch of the star’s Jogi, Mailari and Shiva happened earlier. These films had turned out to be hits as well.
Written and directed by Duniya Soori, Tagaru is being bankrolled by KP Srikanth under the banner Venus Entertainers. It may be noted here that the star and director are collaborating for the second time after the release of Kaddipudi in 2013.
Tagaru stars Manvitha, Bhavana, Dhananjay, Vasishta N. Simha, Devaraj and Suhasini Maniratnam. Charan Raj has composed music for this film with Mahendra Simha cranking the camera and Deepu S. Kumar doing the editing.
The producer of Tagaru, KP Srikanth said that the audio launch of this film was slated to happen during the first week of November. The exact date will be revealed soon, he added.
The shooting of the film is yet to be wrapped up and according to its director Duniya Soori, the climax will be shot in Bengaluru. He also confirmed that Tagaru is in the last leg of shooting and that the post-production would begin soon.
