Ace producer D Suresh Babu is all set to produce the remake of the Bollywood flick De De Pyaar De in Telugu under his banner Suresh Productions. The film will have Venkatesh reprising the role done by Ajay Devgn in the original. Announcement regarding the rest of the cast and crew of this project is expected to be out soon.

De De Pyaar De is a romantic comedy film written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali. It was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under their respective banners T-Series and Luv Films. The film had Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.

Also, we hear that Suresh Babu is looking forward to bankroll two other projects which will be directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhassyam and Trinadha Rao Nakkina. Both these films will have Suresh’s brother Venkatesh in the lead.

On his production house completing 55 years in the film industry, he said in an interview to cinemaexpress, “We are really blessed to continue in the industry for over five decades. Apart from film production, Suresh Production has several units like films exhibition and distribution, talent management, film school, and a state-of-the-art production studio.”

Suresh Productions is currently in the process of bankrolling Venky Mama, which again has Venkatesh in the lead role, sharing screen space with his nephew Naga Chaitanya. The shooting of this film began late February and is progressing well. Venky Mama is bankrolled jointly by Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainment on a very big budget with Bobby aka KS Ravindra wielding the megaphone. Anup Rubens has been roped in to compose tunes for Venky Mama and Prasad Murella will be cranking the camera. The film has Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput playing the female leads.
