Tollywood star Venkatesh’s next film has been titled! The film, to be directed by Teja, is called Aata Nade Veta Nade. This will be Venkatesh’s 72nd film. The star has had a successful run at the box office with two of his films, Babu Bangaram and Guru, turning out to be good hits. On the other hand, director Teja is also basking in glory over his latest film Nene Raju Nene Mantri turning out to be a blockbuster hit. Incidentally, this film starred Rana Daggubati, Venky’s nephew in the lead role.
Director Teja made his directorial debut with Chitram in the year 2000 and has directed films such as Nuvvu Nenu, Yeh Dil, Jayam, Lakshmi Kalyanam and Nene Raju Nene Mantri.
The film will be launched officially on December 13, on the eve of the actor’s birthday and will hit the screens during summer next year.
Apart from Aata Nade Veta Nade, Venkatesh will also be starring in the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Vikram Vedha. And this remake will also feature his nephew Rana along with him. Vikram Vedha, directed by Gayathri-Pushkar duo had R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. While Maddy played a cop, Vijay Sethupathi was seen as a gangster.
In the Telugu version, Rana Daggubati will step into the shoes of Vijay Sethupathi while Venky will be playing the cop chasing the gangster. The film will be produced by Rana’s dad and Venky’s brother, D Suresh Babu, under their home banner.
The female lead is yet to be locked and Abinandhan Ramanujam, who is widely known for his work in Tamil and Malayalam films, will be handling the camera for this film. Suresh Productions and 14 Reels Entertainments will bankroll the film jointly. More details about Aata Nade Beta Nade such as its genre and the star cast will be revealed soon.
