Victory Venkatesh has never been in a hurry to sign up films as he is very careful about the scripts he picks up. The actor’s last release was the Sudha Kongara directorial Guru which released in March this year and it scored big at the box office.

According to reports, he has now signed up for a new venture that will be helmed by director Teja. Touted to be a complete action entertainer, the film is reportedly inspired by the television series Breaking Bad.

According to director Teja, he got inspired to make the film after watching the television series but has made ample changes to suit the sensibilities of the Telugu audiences.

The director is busy with the prep work to take it on the floors and the muhurat of the film is scheduled to happen on Venkay’s birthday on December 13. There have been various reports about the female lead in this film with the top contender for the role being Nithya Menen. However, there is no official confirmation on this.

The film, which has not been titled yet, will be produced by Suresh Productions and 14 Reels Entertainment jointly. Anup Rubens is onboard to compose the tunes for this flick and going by the reports doing the rounds, we hear that a couple of songs have been canned already.

Sources also say that the team is looking to cast another young hero in the film and talks are on with some of the well-known actors. Details about it would be revealed soon, we hear.

It is known that Teja delivered a hit Nene Raju Nene Mantri which had Venkatesh’s nephew and D Suresh Babu’s son Rana Daggubati in the lead role, and came back to form.  Even though the film is not a blockbuster, the film turned out to be a good profitable venture for producer Suresh Babu.

Teja will begin shooting for the Balakrishna-starrer in January next year, with the possibility of simultaneously helming both the films.
