Kannada actor V Ravichandran’s younger son Vikram is all set to make his acting debut. The project, with Vikram in the lead, will be helmed by Sahana Murthy and will commence with a song recording on Friday. Arjun Janya has been roped in to compose the tunes for this flick and the recording session will begin in Kerala. The other technical crew include Santhosh Rai Pathaje for cinematography, KM Prakash for editing and Ravi Varma for stunt choreography. The film’s dialogues are penned by V Nagendra Prasad, Sandeep and director Sahana Murthy. The film will be bankrolled by Somanna and Suresh B under their banner Gowri Entertainers.

The groundwork for this film will go on for the next couple of months and the regular shooting will begin in May this year. Reports say that Vikram is preparing well for the role by attending martial arts and other special classes at Abhinaya Taranga.

We also hear that this yet to be titled film will be a romantic entertainer with lots of action to add to the ‘mass’ elements. While the hero and the core technical crew have been finalised, the team is scouting for a suitable heroine to star opposite Vikram.

Previously, Vikram was supposed to make his debut with a multilingual film titled Novembernalli Naanuu Avalu that was to be helmed by Nagashekar. But the project was put on the back burner.

It may be noted here that Ravichandran’s eldest son Manoranjan made his debut in Sandalwood with the film Saheba in 2017. It was directed by Bharath and earned the hero positive reviews for his performance. In 2018, Manoranjan’s second film Brihaspathi made it to the silver screens.

Ravichandran is a well-known actor, director, producer and music director in the Kannada film industry. He has won several awards in his illustrious career and there are high expectations that his sons will follow in his footsteps.
