The anthem, reportedly composed by Deepak Dev, is expected to be part of the promos for the first film that actor Prithviraj Sukumaran directs with Mohanlal in the lead.

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam movie Lucifer have been promoting the film vigorously by releasing character posters of each of the actors in the cast.

The latest info we have about the movie is that there is going to be a ‘Lucifer Anthem’. Reportedly, this song has been rendered by popular singer Usha Uthup and composed by Deepak Dev. The film will be the first one directed by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Lucifer has Mohanlal playing the lead role with Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith, and Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Those in the supporting roles include Kalabhavan Shajon, Sai Kumar, Saniya Iyappan, director Fazil, Sunil Sughatha, Thara Kalyan, Praveena Thomas, Nyla Usha and Mala Parvathy.

In a recent video released on the YouTube channel Poffactio (Prithviraj Official Network),Tovino Thomas said, "The post-production work of the movie is going on. The rushes that I saw during the process of dubbing and the feedback I got from my co-stars have made me feel very positive about the film. I wish the film provides full entertainment and satisfaction to the audience and becomes a big success." 

The technical crew of the film comprises Sujith Vaassudev for cinematography and Samjith for editing while Stephen Devassy is in charge of the music composition. Actor-writer Murali Gopy has written the script. Very little details about the film have been revealed so far to keep up the suspense factor intact, say sources. All we know so far is it is touted to be a political thriller and Mohanlal, the male lead, plays a politician called Stephen Nedumballi.

Lucifer is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

The film has been shot in various places in Kerala including Ernakulam, Idukki and Thiruvananthapuram and in Mumbai. Some important portions were also canned in Lakshadweep and Russia. It is scheduled for release on March 28th and the post production is currently on.
