News about the young director roping in Suresh Gopi and Shobana to play important roles in this family entertainer garnered the attention of the film buffs in a big way and now the latest buzz is that another veteran actor Urvashi too has joined the cast. Dulquer Salmaan and Kalyani Priyadarshan have been signed up to play the key roles in this yet to be titled film as well.

Anoop Sathyan will not only be wielding the megaphone for this venture but also scripting it. Plans are on to release this flick next year. The technical crew signed up includes Alphonse for music and Mukesh Muraleedharan for cinematography. More details about the debut of Anoop Sathyan are expected to be out soon.

Besides this film, Suresh Gopi has Lelam 2 in his kitty. The film is being directed by Nithin Renji Panicker and has been written by Renji Panicker. Earlier, there were reports of this film being a sequel to the 1997 crime film Lelam but the director has clarified that it is not. Lelam 2 will also have actor Lal in an important role. It is touted to be a family drama that will revolve on two generations of a family.

Arun Kumar, who played a little boy in Mohanlal’s Olympian Anthony Adam, will be the hero in Dhamaka. The others in the supporting roles of Dhamaka will be Dharmajan and Hareesh Kanaran. The film, bankrolled by MK Nasser, is likely to hit the marquee later this year or early next.
