With the audio album of Darshan’s Chakravarthy scoring big with fans, expectations have been raised high for the film’s trailer. And fans won’t have to wait much longer, as the two-minute trailer of the film will be released on Ugadi, March 29.
Chakravarthy, which is scheduled for release on April 14, has generated a lot of interest over the buzz that its star Darshan will be appearing in three different looks in the film. This alone has generated major expectations for the trailer, which should give a glimpse of the star’s different avatars.
The film sees the directorial debut of Chintan, who has also written the screenplay for the film. Chintan is a well-known writer in Kannada film circles, and this will be his directorial debut.
Produced by Anaji Nagaraj and Siddhanth, the film will be distributed by Darshan’s brother Dinakar under their banner Thoogudeepa Distributors. Interestingly, Dinakar will be making his debut as an actor with Chakravarthy.
Deepa Sannidhi is paired opposite Darshan in the movie, and the others in the star cast include Aditya, Kumar Bangarappa, Srujan Lokesh, Ishita Vyas and Yashas Surya. HC Venu has done the camerawork for the film, which has been edited by KM Prakash.
Sources reports that with the film’s release a few weeks away, its satellite and Hindi dubbing rights have already been lapped up for a huge amount.
