Chandramouli M, one of the dialogue writers for KGF Chapter 1, which turned out to be a smash hit, will be working with another writer Rajshekar KL to pen the dialogues for the upcoming Darshan starrer Roberrt. Rajshekar is well-known for his work in Amma I Love You and Victory 2. Director Tharun Sudhir, who will be wielding the megaphone for Roberrt, has made it clear that both the writers are onboard his project. He has been quoted by TNIE as stating that Roberrt will have a mix of dialogues from both the writers and that he roped them in because they are passionate about their work, even though they are newcomers to the industry.

On directing the Darshan starrer, Tharun pointed out in the interview, “People come with a lot of expectation and witty dialogues are a must. Irrespective of the subject and backdrop – humour, action, love, mythology – for the audience, dialogues are a standalone means of entertainment. Like songs, today even dialogues have become a major attraction for people to come to theatres. In fact, there are certain examples of dialogues which are still remembered among people even after years of the film’s release.”

The director had earlier said that he has penned the story not as a director but as Darshan’s fan, which means it will have all elements that the star’s fans would love to watch on the silver screen.

According to reports, the star’s first look in the movie will be launched on February 16 to coincide with his birthday and give his fans a treat on his birthday. The shooting is likely to begin in April this year.

When this film was announced, it was revealed that Darshan’s character in it is named Roberrt but the director put an end to all guesswork and clarified that the character will have nothing to do with the star’s cameo role in Chowka.
