The year 2017 seems to be a grand one for southern star Rana Daggubati, especially riding on the stupendous success of Rajamouli's Baahubali series.
The actor took to Twitter to express his pleasure over his journey through the course of the year in the role of the villain (Bhallaladeva in Baahubali) to that of a popular TV show host.

The actor’s two movies Baahubali 2-The Conclusion and The Ghazi Attack were in the IMDb's top 10 list. While the former secured second position after Madhavan's Vikram Vedha, the latter secured the sixth place.
In the recent Forbes India's top 100 Indian celebrities’ rankings, based on estimates of entertainment related earnings, Rana grabbed the 36th place with Rs 22 crores.
While making himself busy with multi-starrers and multilingual projects, Rana is also hosting Telugu TV shows. His No1 Yaari with Rana show brings together Tollywood stars and their real-life best friends who share secrets and play funny games.

His upcoming project is Haathi Mere Saathi, which is being produced by Eros International. The film will be released in three languages — Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, and is being directed by Prabhu Solomon. The story apparently deals with man-elephant conflict.
