Prajin, a well-known television anchor and actor, will reportedly be seen as the villain in the upcoming Malayalam movie Love Action Drama. The actor is currently playing the lead character in the Tamil TV soap Chinnna Thambi.

The shooting of the Dhyan Sreenivasan directorial, Love Action Drama, was wrapped up recently. Besides directing the film, Dhyan has also penned the script for it. Love Action Drama is currently in post production and we hear that its makers are planning an Onam release this year.

The film has Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara playing the lead pair with Dhyan’s dad Sreenivasan, Urvashi, Aju Varghese, Dhanya Balakrishnan and director Antony Joseph, playing pivotal roles in it.

According to reports doing rounds, Nivin Pauly will be playing the role Dineshan in the movie. Hailing from a well to do family, Dineshan strives to make it big all by himself and what ensues during the course forms the rest of the story. Reports are that it is a spinoff of the state award winning 1989 movie Vadakkunokkiyanthram, written and directed by Sreenivasan, who also played the lead character in it.

Nayanthara will be playing a Palakkad native, fluent in both Malayalam and Tamil. Touted to be a complete entertainer, the film will go on the floors in July this year.

Dhyan has roped in a strong technical team for the project. Shaan Rahman is the music composer for this film while the lyrics have been penned by Dhyan’s brother Vineeth Sreenivasan. Jomon T John is cranking the camera and the editing is done by Vivek Harshan with art direction being taken care of by Ajay Mangadu. The film has been shot extensively in Chennai, Bengaluru and Kochi.

Actor Aju Varghese is producing this film in association with Vishak Subramaniam under the banner of Funtastic Films.
