Allu Arjun’s fans have been waiting for an announcement regarding his next project but there is no concrete news about it till now. The star’s last film release was Naa Peru Surya which did not fare too well at the box office. Following this, he has been looking out for a good script to shift his focus.
Allu Arjun was in talks with director Vikram Kumar but the film failed to take off on time with the script not being satisfactory. The director is reportedly working on tweaking it to suit the star’s expectations.
According to the latest buzz, the star may team up with director Trivikram Srinivas and an announcement may be made soon.
The director’s Aravindha Sametha, starring Jr NTR, hit the marquee recently and is doing well at the box office. The film, on its opening day, earned over Rs 8 crore and grossed Rs 60 crore worldwide. The film was released across 194 screens and eventually crossed the $1 million mark, breaking the record of Ram Charan's Rangasthalam's in the US.
Aravindha Sametha also turned out to be a saving grace for the Srinivas for his last film, Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyathavaasi turned out to be a box office dud.
This grand success has of Aravindha Sametha however paved way for Allu Arjun and Srinivas to team up again. They had worked together in Julayi and S/o Sathyamurthi in the past and both the films have done well at the box office. With their third time association, it could be hat trick!
Aravindha Sametha’s success and the delay in Vikram Kumar’s project could well turn out to be beneficial for Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas. Now, only the official word is awaited.
