Ramachandran visited the school and assured the students that nothing of this sort would happen in future. He said that if such an incident is repeated action will be taken under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.The school manager, however, said that he had only asked that students to study. ‘If grades reduce the government questions us. They do not study when they are asked to and I had asked them to study and nothing else,’ he said.
