The official trailer of the Puneeth Rajkumar starrer Natasarvabhouma is out and has captured the attention of the film buffs. From the trailer, it is evident that it is a horror thriller that will have the cine goers in the edge of their seats throughout. Puneeth Rajkumar, playing a journalist in the film will be seen wearing a black thread woven with nine gemstones, which is intriguing and seems to have an underlying importance.

Speaking about it, director Pavan Wadeyar had told the New Indian Express earlier, “Puneeth has always been a trendsetter with his unique style. He is currently sporting a thread that has a jewel with nine gemstones on his wrist, rather than wearing it as a ring or around the neck, as it usually is worn.”

Puneeth Rajkumar’s Natasarvabhouma is helmed by Pavan Wadeyar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh under his banner Rockline Productions. Its technical crew includes D Imman for music, Tollywood dance master Jani for choreography, and Vaidhi as the cameraman. The film will have two heroines – Rachita Ram and Anupama Parameswaran – playing the female leads. It may be mentioned that the latter will be making her debut in Sandalwood with Nata Sarvabhouma.

Interestingly, Puneeth’s dad, the legendary actor Rajkumar, was honoured with the title Nata Sarvabhouma and he had acted in a film with the same title. Puneeth had said in an interview earlier that this made him both excited as well as nervous to work on the project and that he will strive to give his best.

Director Pavan Wadeyar made his debut as director with the Kannada film Govindaya Namaha in 2012 and has directed films such as Potugadu (Telugu), Googly, Rana Vikrama, Jessie and Nataraja Service. For his debut movie, Pavan went on to win the SIIMA award for the Best Debut Director.
