Tovino unveils first look of Gokul Suresh's 'Ulta'
Tovino Thomas released the first look poster of the upcoming Malayalam film Ulta. The colorful poster features the film’s lead actors of the film Gokul Suresh, Anusree, Prayaga Martin and Ramesh Pisharody. The film also has Renji Panicker, Shanthi Krishna, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Siddique and KPAC Lalitha in supporting roles.
Ulta is directed by popular scriptwriter Suresh Poduval, who is making his directorial debut with this film. Gopi Sundar and Sudarsan are composing music for this film with Prakash Velayudhan cranking the camera and Shameer Muhammed in charge of editing. The film is produced by Dr Subash Cipy under the production banner Cipy Creative Works Pvt. Ltd.
According to reports, Ulta is touted to be a romantic comedy that revolves around the characters of Gokul Suresh, Anusree and Prayaga Martin. Apparently, Anusree and Prayaga Martin play sisters in this film, both falling in love with the character played by Gokul.
Gokul’s last release was the Malayalam movie Soothrakkaran. In this film directed by Anil Raj, he shared screen space with Maniyan Pilla Raju’s son Niranj. Soothrakkaran, which released earlier this year, was a thriller. Gokul currently has a number of projects including, Sayana Varthakal, Ilayaraja and an untitled film with debutant Sanjith Chandrasenan.
He has also inked the deal to act in Lelam 2 in which he will share screen space with his father Suresh Gopi. The film is being directed by Nithin Renji Panicker and has been written by Renji Panicker. Lelam 2 is the sequel to Suresh Gopi's hit family drama Lelam directed by Joshiy in 1997. Reports are that Lelam 2 will be about the enmity between two liquor business groups, the Aanakkattil family and Kadayadi family.
