The first look of the upcoming film Forensic has been unveiled and is gaining the attention of the film buffs in a big way. The poster has the film’s lead star Tovino Thomas performing a lab test. This is indeed intriguing making fans wonder what his role in the film would be. Reports have it that his character’s name in the film is Samuel John Kaattookaran and he plays a medico-legal advisor working in the Kerala Police’s Forensic Science Lab (FSL).
Wielding the megaphone for Forensic is Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, and they have scripted the film as well. It may be noted that Forensic was supposed to be directed by cinematographer Sujit Vasudev but he walked out due to date issues following which Akhil Paul and Anas Khan took over.
The technical crew of this entertainer includes Akhil George for cinematography, Jakes Bejoy for music, Shameer Muhammed for editing, Dileepnath for art direction, Sameera Saneesh for costume designing, Rajashekar for stunts, and Vishnu Govind and Sree Sankar for sound designing. Navis Xaviour and Siju Mathew are producing the film under the banner Juvis Productions and Raju Malliath’s Ragam Movies.
Mamta Mohandas has been roped in to play the female lead in Forensic with Saiju Kurup, Giju John, Reba Monica John, Dhanesh Anand, and Anil Murali forming the supporting cast. On Mamta’s role in the film, the directors had said earlier that she is not Tovino’s pair but will have a meaty role to play. The directors refused to divulge any further details about Forensic and have kept the suspense factor intact until now. Tovino Thomas’s next film to hit the marquee will be Kilometres and Kilometres. The shooting of this film is over and it is in the post-production mode.
