  1. The CBI has informed the Kerala High Court that an alarming number of children have been trafficked to Kerala from north India recently and that a detailed probe is necessary in this case. Recently 16 children, who had been trafficked from Arunachal Pradesh, were rescued from Kerala. Read a Manoramaonline report. 2. The home department has finally decided that when it comes to complying to road rules, the law applies equally to everyone. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala announced that over speeding vehicles, including those of ministers and other VIPs, will also be fined. Kerala DGP TP Senkumar has ordered the Traffic department to not turn off traffic signals when police vehicles are plying on the road stating that police officers too need to obey rules like other citizens.
