    1. It seems that the Sr Abhaya case will have no end. The CBI has not been able to find the lost evidence in the 23-year-old Abhaya murder case. The lost evidence were the head scarf of the nun and the slippers she wore at the time of murder. Read a Manoramaonline report.    2. Actor Mammooty has been selected as the General Secretary of Kerala's film actors association AMMA. 11 other actors have been selected as new committee members. Actor Innocent will continue as the organisation's president. Read a Mathrubhumi report.   3. Former Chief Whip PC George has leveled  another allegation against Finance Minister KM Mani. George said that Mani took a Rs 10 crore bribe from rubber farmers for rubber storage. Read a Manorama News report.   4. There has been an online backlash against Boby Chemmanur, the Chairman of Chemmannur Group, following  opposition leader VS Achuthanandan's allegations that the former was involved in financial fraud of around Rs 2,000 crore. An 8-year-old boy was allegedly brutally assaulted by the care taker of an orphanage where he stays and has been admitted to the Thrissur medical college hospital with serious head injuries. The caretaker reportedly hit the boy on his head with a plate for spilling rice on the floor while having meals. Read a report by The Times of India.
