The News Minute| December 4, 2014| 8.24 am IST The usual ten day winter session of the Assembly will be held for three days this year in Tamil Nadu. Starting on December 4, the House will meet on Friday and the following Monday. The decision was made after a meeting of the business advisory committee, chaired by assembly speaker P Dhanapal, Chief Minister O Panneerselvam and power minister Natham R Viswaranthan along with opposition parties, reported Times of India. This will be the first meeting of the state assembly following the former chief minister J Jayalalithaa's disqualification after which finance minister O Panneerselvam was made the Chief Minister.
