Timeline of IPL 2013 betting and spot fixing case

New Delhi : Here is the timeline of the IPL 2013 betting and spot fixing case, in which the Supreme Court has banned N. Srinivasan from contesting the BCCI president's poll:
May 16, 2013: Three Rajasthan Royals players S. Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankit Chavan arrested by Delhi Police for spot-fixing during Indian Premier League 2013.
May 21: Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh arrested for his links with bookies.
May 24: Mumbai police arrest Gurunath Meiyappan, son-in-law of BCCI president Srinivasan, for his links with bookies through Vindoo.
India Cements and Chennai Super Kings deny Meiyappan was CSK team prinicipal.
May 31: BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale and treasurer Ajay Shirke resign in the wake of the IPL scandal.
June 1: IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla resigns.
June 2: BCCI appoints two-judge committee of T. Jayaram Chowta and T. Balasubramainan to probe the scandal, officials tell Srinivasan to "step aside" until the probe is completed.
June 6: Delhi Police say Rajasthan Royals' co-owner Raj Kundra has confessed to betting. The BCCI suspends him.
July 28, 2013: BCCI's two-judge panel finds nothing against CSK, RR, Kundra and India Cements.
July 30: The Bombay High Court, on a PIL of Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) secretary Aditya Verma, rules BCCI's two-member probe panel as unconstitutional.
Aug 5: BCCI files a Special Leave Petition (SLP) in the Supreme Court against the Bombay High Court's ruling, claims to be a private body.
Sep 13: BCCI bans accused RR players Sreesanth, Chavan and Amit Singh. Spinner Harmeet Singh is exonerated.
Sep 21: Meiyappan named in betting charge sheet.
Sep 29: Supreme Court allows Srinivasan to contest BCCI elections, but prevents him from assuming BCCI office.
Oct 7: SC appoints Justice Mukul Mudgal to look into the IPL scandal.
Feb 10, 2014: The Mudgal Commission submits report, holding Meiyappan was involved in betting. It also names a few India players in the scandal. The names are not disclosed.
March 7: BCCI files an affidavit admitting Meiyappan was part of the CSK franchise as an 'official', but contests suspension of CSK from IPL.
March 18: India and CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni moves the Madras High Court over fixing allegations.
March 25: SC asks Srinivasan to step down to allow a fair probe.
March 27: SC proposes Sunil Gavaskar as the interim BCCI chief, and suspends CSK and Rajasthan Royals.
April 29: BCCI calls for a new panel, saying the Mudgal Committee finding are "erroneous". SC turns down the plea.
June 12: SC refuses to block Srinivasan from being the BCCI nominee for the ICC chairman.
Sep 1: Mudgal panel gets two-month extension to submit final report. Srinivasan barred re-entry to BCCI until the investigation is over.
Nov 3: The Mudgal Committee final report given to SC in a sealed envelope.
Nov 14: The names of Srinivasan and Gurunath Meiyappan mentioned in the Mudgal report, with IPL CEO Sundar Raman and Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra.
Nov 17: Mudgal panel findings are partially revealed, suggesting clean chit to Srinivasan in betting and fixing. However, he is is held guilty of inaction. Kundra is charged with being in contact with bookies.
Nov 21: BCCI contests allegations against Srinivasan in Mudgal report. Srinivasan requests to be reinstated as BCCI president. India Cements, owning CSK, requesting to the apex court that the franchise should not be punished for wrongdoings of one individual, i.e., Meiyappan.
Nov 24: SC asks Srinivasan why his role as a BCCI administrator and owner of an IPL franchise at the same time is not conflict of interest.
Nov 27: SC observes CSK should be scrapped with immediate effect.
Dec 8: SC says "taking all circumstances in account, it is very difficult to accept" Srinivasan's contention that there is no conflict of interest with him as the MD of CSK-owning India Cements, an official of CSK, as head of BCCI.
Dec 9: SC rejects BCCI's four-point action plan to punish only those found guilty in the spot-fixing case.
Dec 10, 2014: SC asks BCCI to postpone the elections until Jan 31, 2015.
Dec 15: SC finds Raman party to the offence of betting activities by officials.
Dec 16: SC asks BCCI for a list of its administrators who have commercial interests in the IPL or Champions League T20.
Jan 22, 2015: Meiyappan, Kundra are held guilty of betting. Srinivasan cleared of cover-up allegations, but barred from contesting BCCI polls elections as long as he is involved in a "conflict of interest". SC appoints three-member panel to decide on the quantum of punishment for Meiyappan, Kundra, CSK and RR.
