A nine-year-old boy was brutally murdered and a remorseless teenage murderer later allegedly had sex with the child's dead body. The horrific incident happened in Vizhinjam in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala and was the result of the teenager's attempt to reenact a pornographic clipping he had watched, according to the police.
The investigating officer told The News Minute that the 9-year-old had rebuffed his 17-year-old neighbour's sexual advances. Enraged over the rejection, the teenager repeatedly hit the child with a bottle, killing him.
The police said that the 17-year-old accused who has allegedly confessed to the crime, hit the victim repeatedly on his head with an empty liquor bottle.
“Post mortem results prove that the boy was subjected to sexual exploitation, sodomy to be precise after death,” said Vizhinjam Circle Inspector G Binu.
He however insisted that it was too early to call the teenager a necrophile, as this could have been an action at the spur of the moment and the police are yet to verify any other crimes committed by him in the past.
“We have just started our enquiry, and need to find whether the accused has committed similar crimes previously. But this time he was well aware before the act of sodomy that the boy was dead,” he said.
The two boys were students of the same government school near their residence.
