N Balakrishna is done with the KS Ravikumar directorial Ruler and has moved over to the Boyapati Srinu directorial. This film is being bankrolled by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy under his banner. An update about Balayya’s new film is that talks have been initiated with the Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt to play the villain and he will soon be signing on the dotted lines.

Balayya and Boyapati Srinu share a good rapport having worked together in two films earlier and this is their third outing together. An interesting update about this untitled film is that S Thaman has been roped in to compose the tunes. Boyapati Srinu and Thaman have worked together in Sarrainodu and the songs in the film turned out to be chartbusters.

Incidentally, Thaman is basking in glory over the song ‘Samajavaragamana’ from Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo receiving a positive response. Ala Vaikuntapuramlo is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and bankrolled jointly by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna under the banners Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations respectively. Veteran actor Jayaram has been roped in to play Allu Arjun’s father in it. Interestingly, another versatile actor Sathyaraj will be seen as the hero’s grandfather. The technical crew of this film also includes PS Vinod for cinematography and Naveen Nooli for editing.

On Balayya’s upcoming release, Ruler, we hear that he will be playing dual roles in the film. While one will be that of a cop, the other will be that of a politician. K S Ravikumar is directing the film with the story penned by Paruchuri Murali and the rest of the technical crew will be Chirantan Bhatt for music and Ram Prasad for cinematography. Ruler is being produced by C Kalyan under his banner Happy Movies. Vedhika and Sonal Chauhan have been roped in to play the female leads in this flick.
