Here’s some good news for Thala Ajith’s fans. He will begin shooting for his 57th film in May which will be produced by Ace production banner Sathya Movies.
Actor Ajith who is returning to India in May is all set for his 57th film. Director Siva, who had directed the star in two films Veeram and Vedhalam, will be donning the director’s robes for the third time.
After the surgery and complete bed rest, Ajith had reportedly left to London for a long break.
While the preparations for the movie have begun, there are speculations that the female lead could be Anushka Shetty. The film’s shooting will commence on June 9th, sources said.
Letting in a few details about this untitled flick, sources said that it is being planned out as a city-based commercial entertainer. The film, of course, will have a huge star cast, and the director is working out on assembling one of the best that the Tamil film industry has ever seen, sources said.
Veeram and Vedhalam were the biggest hits in both Ajith as well as Siva’s careers and they hope to retain the success by scoring a hat-trick. While Devi Sri Prasad had composed tunes for Veeram and Anirudh for Vedhalam, expectations are rife on who would bag the offer for Ajith’s unnamed movie.
Meanwhile, there are speculations that Ajith’s 58th film will be produced jointly by VV Films and another leading production house.
