Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Kootam(TSK) is all set for a massive release on January 12 worldwide and the team is busy promoting it in all centres. Speaking about his upcoming film during its promo event held recently, its hero Suriya has said that TSK is made for the festive season and one can watch it with the entire family. He added that TSK will not have any social messages and is a clean entertainer made with the sole aim of letting the audiences have a relaxed and enjoyable fare at the theatres.
Directed by Vignesh Shivan, TSK stars Suriya and Keerthy Suresh as the lead pair. The star cast also includes Karthik, Suresh Chandra Menon, Sudhakar, Senthil, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyan, RJ Balaji and others.
Based on the Hindi movie Special 26 by Neeraj Pandey, TSK has been written and directed by Vignesh Shivan. Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for this entertainer with Dinesh Krishnan cranking the camera and A Sreekar Prasad editing it. KE Gnanavel Raja has bankrolled the movie under his banner Studio Green on a huge budget.
TSK will also release in Telugu under the title Gang on the same day as its Tamil version. While there were reports of the Telugu version getting delayed, the makers have made it clear that it would hit the silver screens as planned.
It may be mentioned that there are quite a lot of movies lined up for release in Tamil and Telugu this Pongal / Sankaranthi and TSK is one of the most anticipated films of the lot. With Suriya making it clear that it is a complete family entertainer, movie buffs are waiting eagerly for its release.
