After rumours of Telugu Cinema’s favourite couple, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya dating each other doing the rounds for years it is finally confirmed that the couple will be tying the knot at a beach wedding in Goa on October 6.
Samantha and Chaitanya had maintained silence about their relationship until they got formally engaged on January 29.
After their engagement, everywhere the couple went they were being asked questions about their wedding date.
Day one will be a wedding traditional Hindu wedding with all the Telugu ceremonies and rituals, we hear. The following day, the couple will walk down the wedding aisle in a church in Goa for a Christian wedding. Reports are that only close family and friends are invited to the wedding.
On Samantha continuing to work after marriage, Chaitanya had said last year, “I don’t think I’d ever tell her what she should and shouldn’t do. I’m proud of her growth as an actress and I will encourage her to continue working. It was through sheer talent and hard work she got where she is today. I don’t think she should throw away her successful career because of marriage.”
Chai and Sam first met on the sets of the Gautham Menon’s ‘Ye Maya Chesave' in 2010 and then went to work in films such as ‘Auto Nagar Surya’ and ‘Manam'. Samantha is currently busy with several movies including the Vijay starrer ‘Mersal' in Tamil, Ram Charan Teja starrer ‘Rangathalam’ in Telugu and the Savitri biopic, ‘Mahanati' and Naga Chaitanya with ‘Yuddha Sharanam'.
The couple’s fans are elated over the announcement of their wedding date and are eagerly waiting to hear more.
