The actor's 'Lover's Day', the Telugu dubbed version of Malayalam movie 'Oru Adaar Love', will hit screens on February 14.

Telugu film makers to wait and watch before casting Priya Varrier

There have been reports that some top filmmakers in Tollywood are keen on roping in Priya Prakash Varrier for their films. Sources in the Telugu film industry also pointed out a few days ago that the actor is being considered to play Nani’s lead pair in the upcoming film to be directed by Vikram Kumar.

But now, we hear that the Telugu filmmakers will be adopting the wait and watch attitude before signing her up. Priya Prakash’s debut film, Oru Adaar Love, is all set to be released on February 14. The Telugu dubbed version of this Malayalam film, titled Lover’s Day, will also be out on the same day. Priya Prakash may get to sign any new projects in Telugu only after the filmmakers get to know how Lover’s Day fares in Tollywood. The film has been promoted majorily and producers are waiting to know if she will click with the audience, before signing more movies with her.

The Telugu audio launch happened recently in Hyderabad and Tollywood star Allu Arjun was the guest of honor for the audio launch. The film is has been dubbed in Kannada as Kirik Love Story. The makers have kick-started promotion of all the three versions.   

Directed by Omar Lulu, Oru Adaar Love is produced by Ousepachan Vaalakuzhy under the banner Ousepachan Movie House. Reports are that it is a campus entertainer revolving around a set of students and will be a treat for the youngsters.

The film has a bevy of newbies in pivotal roles and that includes Roshan Abdul Rahoof, Noorin Shereef, Siyadh Shajahan, Priya Varrier and Michelle Ann Daniel. While the director himself is in charge of the story, the screen play has been penned by Sarang Jayaprakash and Lijo Panadan. Shaan Rahman has composed music for this venture with Sinu Sidharth cranking the camera and Achu Vijayan editing it.

Oru Adaar Love turned out to be very popular when the first promo song from the film was released. It featured Priya Prakash winking and the song went viral among the netizens earing her the nickname ‘the wink sensation’.
