A man allegedly killed himself and his two minor daughters by setting themselves ablaze following a brawl with his wife at their residence in Pamunooru village in Telangana’s Warangal district on Thursday, police said.
The incident occurred in morning, when K. Srinivas, in a fit of rage, poured kerosene on himself and the girls, identified as Rasagna (7) and Akshitha (5) and set themselves afire, said circle inspector David Raju.
While the girls died on the spot, Srinivas succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Police said Srinivas used to doubt fidelity of his wife because of which the couple used to have frequent fights.
A case is registered and further investigation is on.
