Tollywood actor Adivi Sesh’s next is the biopic Major, which is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The teaser of the movie was released on Monday by Tollywood star Mahesh Babu, who is also on board as producer for the venture. Unveiling the teaser of the movie, Mahesh wrote, “An attempt to honour the legacy of an unsung hero... The start of a MAJOR journey!! Hope you all like it! #MajorTeaser.”

The teaser opens with a shot of Major Sandeep caught inside a building that’s on fire. We then hear his voice asking, “What does it mean to be a soldier?” As the teaser progresses, Adivi, who plays the role of Sandeep, answers the question. His voiceover is taken from excerpts of his conversations with his father. His answers to the question play in the background and correspond with visuals from the teaser. While some glimpses are taken in between operations, others show Sandeep along with his family members and the person he is in love with (played by Saiee Manjrekar). The teaser promises a compelling and emotional biography that tracks the life of a soldier.
