Pokemon Go has become a sensation worldwide with people going gaga and all sorts of crazy over the augmented reality game. 

However, children in Syria are using the imagination behind the game to highlight their own poignant reality.

In a series of messages tweeted by the Revolutionary Forces of Syria, Syrian children are holding up pictures of Pokemon with messages asking people to find them and take them away from the war-torn country.
