Suriya’s sci-fi thriller 24’s audio released at grand function

The audio of Suriya’s upcoming movie ‘24’ was released on Monday at two grand functions. The Tamil audio launch happened in the morning in Chennai while the Telugu version was released in the evening in Hyderabad.

The Tamil audio launch was a star-studded event where singers of the movie performed live on stage.

The event started with a silent prayer for two minutes for the people who lost their lives in the Kollam temple fire. The event was graced by Suriya's father Sivakumar and brother Karthi. AR Rahman along with all the technicians and crew members were present at the event.

A.R. Rahman performed live along with guitarist Keba Jeremiah. The original singers sang three beautiful tracks from the album viz. Kaalam En Kadhali, Aararoo and Naan Un. 

Singer Benny Dayal performed the hit track  'Kaalam En Kadhali', which was released last month. Chinmayi Sripada, Abhay and Shakthisree Gopalan also sung their respective songs from the movie.

After this, to everyone's surprise, actress Nithya Menon sung the Telugu version of Aararoo. During the event, the making of the videos of Mei Nagara and Naan Un were played.

While speaking at the event, Suriya thanked all the technicians behind "24" along with AR Rahman and his team for support.

"I wasn't ready to do another double role in my career. But I ended up playing triple roles in this film,” said Suriya.  

“All that Nithya needs is 20 seconds before a scene to prepare herself for the shot. She would close her eyes briefly and get everything right," he added.  

The movie's trailers were also unveiled during the audio launch and released on YouTube in the evening.

The Telugu audio launch was held at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad and was graced by the whole team.  Samantha, who was missing for the Tamil audio launch due to shooting commitments made it in the evening for the Telugu launch.

Suriya has a triple role in the film, with Samantha and Nithya Menon playing the female leads. Directed by Vikram K Kumar, a majority of the film relies on VFX.
