Actors Sunny Wayne and Gouri will be sharing screen space for the Malayalam film Anugraheethan Antony, which will mark the directorial debut of Prince Joy. Incidentally, the film will mark Gouri’s debut in the Malayalam film industry. It may be noted here that her acting debut was with the hit movie 96, in which she was seen playing the younger version of Trisha.

On signing up the Malayalam film, Gouri told in an interview to the Times of India, “There is a lot of thought that is put in to it. It is very interesting, and I really loved it. It has emotions, fantasy and much more. Moreover, I would love to work alongside Sunny sir, who is no conventional actor but keeps experimenting with his roles and style. I loved his performance in Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi.”

And this is what Sunny has to say about the film: “It is a movie that has a great connection with real life. There is an Antony in everyone and I am sure it will touch us, as it has a deep mystery and umpteen emotions in it.” Besides the lead pair, the film’s main hero would be a canine, which is being specially trained. Actors Siddique and Suraj Venjaramoodu will play significant roles in the film.

The shooting of Anugraheethan Antony will begin later this month with the team planning shooting schedules in Thodupuzha and Perumbavoor.

While Sunny Wayne will be getting busy with this film soon, he is also expecting the release of Zam Zam, the remake of the hit Hindi film Queen. Also, he is all set to make his debut in the Tamil film industry with Gypsy. He was last seen in the film Kayamkulam Kochunni playing a negative character as a spurned Kalaripayattu fighter turning into a policeman waiting to avenge Kochunni (Nivin Pauly).
