"Just a second. Either there is mutual respect, or the conversation is over", shot back Lebanese TV host Rima Karaki, cutting short her guest during an interview.

Karaki on Monday got into a heated argument with Hani Al-Seba'i, a Sunni scholar, while interviewing him on the issue of Christians joining Islamic groups.

According to a report by The Daily Dot, Al-Seba’i fled to London after he was sentenced in an Egyptian court to 15 years in prison for being a part of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad.

During the talk show, a video of which has been uploaded on the internet by Memri TV, Al-Seba'i is seen giving long-winded answers which makes Karaki impatient.

She asks him to focus on the present and goes on to ask him specific questions which irks Al-Seba'i. "Listen, don't cut me off. I will answer as I please", says Al-Seba'i.

The host then explains to him that they have limited time, but Al-Seba'i refuses to pay any heed to her.

"In this studio, I run the show", Karaki hits back saying it is she who decides what goes on the show. To which Al-Seba'i responds with "I will whatever I want".

At one point he even asks her to 'shut up', at which point Karaki has had enough and ends the show.

"It's beneath me to be interviewed by you. You are a woman who...", Al-Seba'i is seen saying, but Karaki cuts short his statement.
