Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s Quora account was hacked by a group called OurMine Team.

The group posted a message “hacked” through Pichai’s profile and then said, “Hey it’s OurMine, we are just testing your security, please visit OurMine to upgrade it,” in a later post. Incidentally, this was the same hackers’ collective which had previously hacked into Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s Twitter and Pinterest profiles.

The hackers also posted the links to these posts on Pichai’s Twitter account.

However, the Indian-origin CEO was able to regain control to his account soon enough and the links were deleted from Pichai’s Twitter feed within a few hours.

OurMine claims to focus on security and that its hacking episodes are meant to expose loopholes. "We are just trying to let them know that nobody is safe," OurMine told the online news portal Mic, according to a report in The Hindu.

Earlier this month, OurMine also hacked into the account of Twitter co-founder and former CEO of the micro-blogging site, Evan Williams.
