Kiccha Sudeep will be rendering a song in the upcoming film Krishna Talkies, according to reports. The makers of the film have approached the star to do the honours but the date for the song recording has not been set yet. Sridhar Sambhram is wielding the music baton for this flick.

It may be noted here that Sudeep is an accomplished playback singer with several songs to his credit till date. He has worked with music directors such as Rajesh Ramanath, Gurukiran, Sandeep Chowta, Bharadwaj, MM Keeravani, Arjun Janya, V Harikrishna, Charan Raj, D Imman, and others.

Krishna Talkies is directed by Vijayanand and produced by Govindraju. Ajay Rao plays the lead role in this flick with Apoorva, Sindhu Loknath, Chikkanna and Pramod Shetty forming the rest of the star cast.

On the acting front, Sudeep’s next release in Sandalwood will be Kotigobba 3. While Sudeep himself has penned Kotigobba 3, the film is directed by debutant Shiva Karthik. Arjun Janya is composing the music for this venture while Shekar Chandru is handling the camera. Madonna Sebastian is playing the female lead in this flick with Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani in an important role.

The star also has the Malayalam film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham waiting for release next year. While Mohanlal is playing the title role, the film will have his son Pranav making a cameo appearance. Apart from Sudeep, the historical also has Ashok Selvan, Suneil Shetty, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Mukesh and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles. Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is based on the true life of Kunjali Marakkar IV, the most popular of the Marakkars. The film is helmed by award-winning director Priyadarshan and is produced jointly by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T Kuruvilla and CJ Roy under their respective banners Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainment on a budget of Rs 100 crore.
